American runner Shalane Flanagan made her marathon debut at the NYC Marathon this morning - and came in second place. And she's a Masshole to boot.
Her strategy? Stay at the back of the leading pack for the first 20 miles, then burst ahead for a superstar finish.
I wish I could put her photo on the top of my running shoes.
