136/365 : Cat room

Only Pesto uses the futon in the living room, and she sleeps on the very edge.

135/365 : Nap

Ashmont relaxing after a hard day at the office.

134/365 : New addition

My friends Tom & Darrell got a new puppy - meet Boston :)

133/365 : Sidewalk flowers

These strange lettuce-roses grow right out of the concrete.

132/365 : Japantown

Instead of taking the crowded bus for 20 minutes, I walked the 3 miles home from work. Now I am thinking about getting a bike. I used to love public transportation, but the crowds are starting to get to me. It's like sardines during rush hour.

131/365 : Waiting

I caught Ashmont looking out the window as I got home from work. She likes to watch people get off the bus.

130/365 : Left behind

I wonder who left these new rubber gloves behind.

129/365 : Morning

I took this while waiting for the bus to work. I love the sunlight coming through the leaves.

128/365 : New do

A not so great shot of my hair cut. The bleach blonde is officially gone!

127/365 : My Adidas

I walked around Haight/Ashbury before meeting Andy at his work in Cole Valley. I wish I took more pictures, but I spent too much time at a bookstore. Later that night we saw Star Trek - great summer blockbuster, entertaining and pretty, but three stars at best. However, I enjoyed all the Spock air time. I would love to see more prequels exploring his origins.

126/365 : ANDY K

Superstar DJ! Photo taken at Castro MUNI Station, en route to Marcine's dance performance downtown. The recital was in a beautiful art studio and I loved watching the diverse dance numbers. It's important to support the arts, especially your friends. The Only in San Francisco moment - beatboxing flutist.

After the performance, we went to the dirtybird pajama party at Mezzanine. Justin Martin killed it as usually. He is fast becoming my favorite DJ. I would love to get my hands on a recording of the night's sets.

Notes to self - I miss ballet. Also, I need to stop living for the weekends, as fun as they are.

125/365 : Blue skies

I did a photo project for Mother's Day - a day in the life. Since my mom and I live on different coasts, I thought it would be a nice way to share my new home. It was the first clear day in a week.

124/365 : Where the sidewalk ends

I saw this on a very dreary, no good day.

123/365 : $12 Hair Cut

Shear Image Salon on Geary gets my vote! The hair cut was cheaper than Supercuts and my stylists was perfect. She kept my hair shape and layers, hunted and trimmed out the bleach, and left me mullet-less. Also, she did not try to straighten my hair. WIN

122/365 : Roses

I have been feeling down lately, and Andy got me the cutest little vase of flowers. It worked - I smiled :)

121/365 : The Fog

Locals talk about the fog like it's some kind of monster. But I love it. The Fog is so eerie and calming, a beautiful cloud in the city lights.

120/365 : View

I am spending a lot of time on the couch, blogging, taking in the view and breeze by the window.

119/365 : Brunch

Andy and I went to brunch at a friend's place Sunday, meaning we didn't eat until late and were there all day. Scott & Amber made soft boiled eggs with grated parmesan, asparagus and homemade sourdough bread. Yes, the food was delicious as it looks. Also, my new drink of choice is champagne with chambord.

118/365 : Gray

Another dreary day in San Francisco. The weather has been cloudy and rainy, but nothing like the wet New England spring. I don't miss those week long downpours.

117/365 : RIP Cid Vicious

I snapped this picture the night before Tom & Darrell found out they had to put their cat to sleep. I visited their place so often, I felt like the Cid was part of the family. He will be missed.

116/365 : out the door

Friday night.

115/365 : Red Sox

Our Red Sox had collection. Andy and I actually had more before the move, but not everything fits in the U-Haul.

114/365 : In the shadows

I saw these flowers across the street from my apartment. The blue/purple color is so beautiful.

113/365 : Comfort

We have couches! And a lamp! The new and improved living room.
