I owe everyone a huge update. Andy and I made it safely to San Francisco. I have pictures, videos and stories, which I will eventually upload to our travel blog.
This adventure has and continues to be a bumpy ride. Andy had a medical emergency within days of our arrival, so everything is delayed, including unpacking, assembling furniture and applying for jobs. His condition is not life-threatening, but he's still recovering and we're doing out best to get in the Christmas spirit.
My goal is to finish the apartment and travel blog by 2009. In the meantime, please send positive thoughts to the West Coast. I am blessed to have incredible friends and family back in Boston, and a few completely selfless friends nearby. It takes more a few roadblocks to bring me down.
